It’s been decided. On October 20th, 2010, we will wear purple in honor of the 6 gay boys who committed suicide in recent weeks/months due to homophobic abuse in their homes at at their schools. Purple represents Spirit on the LGBTQ flag and that’s exactly what we’d like all of you to have with you: spirit. Please know that times will get better and that you will meet people who will love you and respect you for who you are, no matter your sexuality. Please wear purple on October 20th. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and schools.

Hello¡

Hello, I'm a Spanish woman, absolutely in love with the show "Queer as Folk" US, and specially with Brian/Justin story. After watching the entire series in a couple of months, and due to the end, which left me numb for days, I started reading fanfiction. I've found wonderful writers in the fandom, and I would like to be able to write myself...but it's not my thing at all, and less in English. So, thanks to all of you, who have been trying to develope an end to their story. I've been lurking here and there searching mainly post season 5 fics, but also gapfillers and some AU and I've always wanted to post appreciative comments to the authors, and that's the main reason I've joined LJ.
